One of the most famous Lithuanian opera soloists, was educated in Vilnius and then became a participant in the Young Artists Program of The Royal Opera House, Covent
Garden. Performed more than 40 roles at the English National Opera, the Royal Opera Covent Garden, the Frankfurt Opera, the Cincinnati Opera, the Santa Fe Opera, the Dutch National Opera, at the Aix-en-Provence Opera Festival, at the Geneva, Frankfurt, Lyon, National Theater of the Opera Comique, The Royal Theatre of La Monnaie, Strasbourg, Vienna, Berlin, Zurich and other theaters. Edgaras also conducts an active concert activity -he sang with the largest symphonic orchestras of Europe, the USA and Japan, in the most famous concert halls-the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, the Amsterdam concertgebau, the Boston Symphony Hall, the main concert halls of London, Paris, etc. Released many CDs and DVDs, having great success with the public. Edgaras has been awarded the Lithuanian Order of Merit medal by President Dalia Grybauskaite; the Badge of Honour – ‘Carry You Light and Believe’ by the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture and in 2009 was awarded the Theatre Award ‘The Gold Cross of the Stage’ in Lithuania for his performances as Werther.
