BRAMANIS
is one of the leading soloists of the Latvian National Opera. Raymond's debut on the LNOB stage took place in 2008 as Papageno in Mozart's opera The Magic Flute. In the following years, he performed the roles of Belcori and Nemorino (“Elisir of Love”), Don Ottavio (“Don Giovanni”), the Prince (“The Love of Three Oranges”), Ishmael (“Nabucco”), Alfred Germont (“La Traviata”), Duke (“Rigoletto”), Malcolm (“Macbeth”), Alfred (“Die Fledermaus”), Lensky (“Eugene Onegin”), Thoth (“I Play, I Dance”), Mario Cavaradossi (“Tosca”), Camille de Rosillon (“The Merry Widow”) and others. His repertoire includes main roles in Faust, Hamlet and other productions. In 2015, Bramanis received the annual Latvijas Gaze award in the Best Opera Soloist category. He gave concerts with The NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra under the direction of Risto Jost at the Leipzig Gewandhaus and the Theater Erfurt, and also performed the role of the Duke in Rigoletto at the Hong Kong Opera. He toured with the Latvian National Opera in Macau (China), at the Tallinn and Vilnius National Operas, collaborated with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra (Norway), performing the title role in the opera "Faust".
